Profile
Pattern and folds in fabric have been a particular inspiration for my work. Relating patterns from clothing to members of my family has allowed me to explore the relationship I have with my two sisters. By concentrating on our similarities and differences, I have produced a series of ceramic pieces, both sculptural and functional, which use pattern, colour and glaze to express our relationships with each other.
I graduated from the University of Sunderland in 2007 with a BA(Hons) in Glass, Architectural Glass and Ceramics.
