My“Industry in design” collection reflects upon and draws inspiration from my past experiences working within industrial environments and attempts to evoke this time through my furniture.
The designs combine both literal and metaphorical keys taken from industrial architecture and environments.
They concentrate on the use of structure, surface detail and their interconnecting relationships, the motifs of adaptability and versatility, combined with the use of colour and materials to provide an emotive link to their original design inspiration.
