Chi Arogundade is an exciting modern painter who creates stunning artwork using oils, acrylics and giclee prints. She has the ability to create captivating contemporary paintings that possess striking images, which slowly manifest from within.
In the early days the artist gained inspiration from the work of the 20th century futurists artists, but now her work has taken on a very unique style, which gives a glimmer of insight into the mindset of the woman who created it. The artist’s approach is so distinctive that viewers can quickly recognise her style in each piece of her collection.
The majority of Chi’s artwork is based on urban structures, and prominent landmarks, brought to life with her sophisticated texturing techniques.
For the last 10 years she has been developing new methods of surfacing paintings by incorporating solid texture. This process enhances the image and adds an extra dimension to the finished picture. She is currently the only professional artist in the country to use these new techniques.
This artist’s work has the tendency to turn heads wherever it is shown, from local galleries to Buckingham Palace.
